About

As a founding managing partner with FSG, with over forty two years of experience, James has assisted numerous high-net worth clients in planning their estates and paying minimal or zero estate tax. Prior to FSG, James was a First Vice President with Wachovia Securities and Prudential Securities where he helped lay the groundwork for the development of a nationwide Business and Estate Planning program. Currently, James is the Estate Planning instructor at the Exit Planning Institute. From 1979 to 1996, James was with Prudential where he held numerous management positions.

James is a member of the elite Forum 400 organization, comprised of leaders in production and innovation in financial services. He has won multiple President citations, was the president of the Association of Life Underwriters in Chicago and was a Vice President on the Charter Life Underwriter (CLU) Board. Additionally, he has been published in the CLU Journal and Forbes online magazine. He has been a main platform speaker at numerous national meetings. James is a Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and holds life, accident and health licenses, as well as Series 7 and 63 registrations.

The objective of the Pinnacle Group is to achieve an even higher level of personal growth and professional development. We currently have eighteen members, all of whom are “Top of the Table” producers, “Court of the Table” producers, and/or seasoned financial planners, each with many years of experience. A prospective member is carefully screened before being invited to join the study group and each is considered a provisional for the first year.
